What is flexible billing schedule in private offers?

Partners can now create customer private offers with plans that include flexible schedules to align with their customers’ budget cycles and purchasing preferences, enabling personalized billing without affecting their invoice cycles.

This billing frequency is supported by SaaS, VM software reservations, and Professional Services plans and available globally to all Microsoft Marketplace-supported currencies.

Please Note:
SaaS per-user (seat-based) pricing plans don’t support flexible billing schedules.

The flexible schedule only applies to flat-rate pricing. Billing for overages reported against any metered billing dimensions will be charged monthly.

To utilize the flexible billing schedule, you can select the following two options when creating the private offer:

• Create a private offer with absolute pricing as a new SaaS or professional services plan.
• Create a private offer with absolute pricing for VM software reservations.
