Why Connect your Microsoft Entra [LDP1] [LDP2] (Azure AD) tenant ID?
To use the Private offer feature in Stactize and the Partner Center, we need to obtain the Azure Entra access token. To connect your Stactize account securely to your Partner Centre you need to associate your Azure Entra application with your Partner Centre account and for Stactize to obtain the tenant ID, client ID, and key.
You can create keys for a Microsoft Entra application by editing its info in Partner Center. You can also remove keys that are no longer needed.
1. From the User management page (under Account settings), select the name of the Microsoft Entra application.
a. Tip: When you select the name of the Microsoft Entra application, you’ll see all of the active keys for the Microsoft Entra application, including the date on which the key was created and when it will expire. To remove a key that is no longer needed, select Remove.
2. To add a new key, select Add new key.
3. You will see a screen showing the Client ID and Key values.
a. Important: Be sure to print or copy this info, as you won’t be able to access it again after you leave this page.
4. If you want to create more keys, select Add another key.
How to Connect:
Important note:
You or your organization must have a Microsoft Entra directory and global administrator permission. If you already use Microsoft 365 or other business services from Microsoft, you already have Microsoft Entra directory. If not, you can create a new Microsoft Entra ID in Partner Center for free.
Who can perform the actions:
In create new users, or make other changes to your Microsoft Entra, you’ll need to sign in to the Microsoft Entra tenant using an account which has global administrator permission for that tenant. However, you don’t need global administrator permission to associate the tenant, or to add users who already exist in that tenant to your Partner Center account. Any user who has the Manager role for a Partner Center account can associate Microsoft Entra tenants with the account.
Create/ add a new Microsoft Entra tenant to associate with your Partner Center account:
From Partner Center, select the gear icon (near the upper right corner of the dashboard) and then select Account settings. In the Settings menu, select Tenants.
If you already have a Microsoft Entra tenant, Select Associate Microsoft Entra with your Partner Center account
If you do not have a Microsoft Entra tenant, Select Create New Microsoft Entra
Enter the directory information for your new Azure AD
(TIP: Before you click on Create to confirm the new domain, please make a note of the new Username and Password created offline as we do not currently support email notifications for this)
