Google Cloud Marketplace – Deal Checklist
- How does the customer prefer to buy?
- If on Google Cloud Marketplace, do they plan to buy at list price or via a private offer?
- If via Private Offers in Partner Portal, does the customer have a contact with appropriate billing admin or viewer permissions?
- Often a customer has multiple billing IDs, so make sure they have the right permissions for the intended billing account.
- Does your customer know their Google Cloud billing ID?
- Is the customer comfortable with the Google Cloud Marketplace Terms of Service they’ll agree to when making the purchase?
- Is the customer comfortable with the click-through end-user license agreement (EULA) or do you need to negotiate and provide a custom one?
- Is the customer requesting the contract start at an earlier date than the actual start date referenced on the contract?
- GCP does is unable to backdate.
- Does the customer intend to purchase hardware or services?
- These are not supported via Google Cloud Marketplace today.
- Does the customer request a different SKU, flavor of service, or billing configuration than what you currently offer on the Google Cloud Marketplace?
